When she got home, she went on the internet. She read an article titled Are Teenage Boys Hitting Each Other in the Balls Harder Than They Used To? She read another article titled Gays' Gaydar is Real, Say Dutch Scientists.
Jane posted the comment “die in a fire” on the second article, in response to a homophobic poster. An hour later she deleted the comment and replaced it with a comment that said “fail.” Twenty minutes later, she deleted that comment. Not knowing what else to do, she brushed her teeth and went to bed.
